The Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Commerce issued Joint Prakas No.168 on Fines for Violation of Competition Law on 29 March 2023 with the purpose to determine the amount of monetary fines for the violation of a vertical agreement, the abuse of a dominant position and merger control. Each violation is subject to a monetary penalty between 3% to 10% of the total turnover during the duration of the violation, with a maximum limit of three years.
